SKYWAYS is a new venture aiming to restart primary civil aircraft design and manufacturing in the UK pioneering new technologies including bio-synthetic net zero CO2 jet fuels, single pilot operations and continuous resolution satellite tracking.

Requirements

We are looking for Founder Engineers with a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience and/or subject matter expertise in the following:

Aircraft design

3D CAD modelling (Solidworks)

Aircraft composite materials (carbon, glass, quartz fibres)

Aircraft systems engineering

Avionics

Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems

Autonomous machines and intelligent systems

Sustainable aviation fuels

Satellite systems engineering

Augmented reality in aeronautics

Flight testing and aircraft certification

Manufacturing automation (Allen-Bradley, SIMATIC, CloudNC)
